Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society - Agnes Kane Callum - Baltimore Chapter - A non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging study and research in history and genealogy. Membership is open to Americans of all ethnic groups and focuses on those with particular interest in African Americans. The diverse membership includes people of all ages, from all walks of life, working toward a common goal. Each one is looking for the ancestral tie that binds us all through the historic events that shape our present. The Afro-American Historical & Genealogy Society, Inc. has been active in the Washington, DC area since 1977 and in 1989 the Baltimore Chapter was chartered.
